Yoga

My personal experience with yoga began through a search for an anxiety cure.

I had been struggling with anxiety for years and had tried various methods to alleviate it, but nothing seemed to work long-term. I stumbled upon yoga as a holistic approach to managing stress and decided to give it a try. When I started taking classes regularly, my focus was on the physical aspect of yoga but quickly noticed that it had a profound effect on my mental and emotional well-being. The breathing techniques and mindfulness practices taught in yoga helped me feel more relaxed and present in the moment, reducing my anxiety levels significantly.

Current class timetable:

9.30 am Mondays - Gentle Hatha Yoga in Coalpit Heath

As I delved deeper into my yoga practice, I realized that I wanted to share this transformative experience with others who may be struggling like I was. I decided to become a certified yoga teacher and started teaching classes to help others find the same sense of peace and calm that I had discovered.

Yoga is a journey of the self, through the self to the self. Every time we step onto our mat, we can deepen our practice, explore new dimensions of ourselves, and connect with the infinite wisdom that resides within us. Yoga is not just a physical practice, but a spiritual journey that leads us back to our true selves, to a place of peace, joy, and wholeness.
